Annual Meeting
The JCA holds its annual breakfast meeting for Jewish coaches and administrators at the Final Four, as well as offering Shabbat Services for coaches and their families during the Final Four weekend of events. When Passover occurs during the Final Four, the JCA can help organize Seders for Coaches and their families.
Red Auerbach Award
The association awards the Red Auerbach Award to the most outstanding Jewish College Basketball Coach of the Year. During each basketball seasonm the association takes nominations from it’s members and in March at the conclusion of conference tournament play the Board of Directors and JCA members vote to determine a winner. The winner is presented by the JCA with the Red Auerbach Trophy at the Final Four.
The Jewish Coaches Association was founded in 2006. The organization supports Jewish-American college, high school and youth basketball coaches around the United States.
